This is the middle-ground version of SeneGence’s 3 in 1 Cleanser, for skin that’s mostly comfortable but tips toward dry. Like the other versions, it’s made to cleanse, tone and exfoliate in one step, and it’s the first step of the core regimen, morning and night. One bottle, three jobs, less to think about at 11pm.

Not too rich, not too stripping. This is the one for skin that sits in the middle.

The formula uses prickly pear, apple AHA and goji, with a focus on hydration. The apple AHA is the exfoliating piece: a fruit acid rather than a scrub. That makes it a good fit if your skin looks a bit dull but doesn’t need the Dry version’s formula. If you get shine by lunch, the Normal to Oily formula is the better call.

At $45 for 4 fl oz, it’s the lowest-priced piece of the core regimen. The Normal-Dry SkinCare Regimen Set ($265) adds the matching DayTime and Evening Moisturizers and EyeCreme, and the catalog shows the set at the same total as buying each piece.
