Nangai Oil is SeneGence’s face oil, built on Nangai seed oil plus an L-22 lipid complex. SeneGence describes Nangai oil as deeply hydrating and soothing, and lists dryness, dullness and fine lines as the concerns. It’s the same Nangai oil that turns up across the brand, from the Facial Resurfacer to the Glowify lip oil, here on its own.

A few drops at night, and dry winter skin looks like it actually slept.

An oil is a different kind of moisture from a gel or serum. Where hyaluronic acid pulls water in, an oil helps hold everything underneath in place and leaves skin looking a bit more glowy. I’d use it last at night, over moisturizer, or mix a drop into moisturizer on dry days. Oily skin can usually skip it.

At $70 for 0.5 fl oz, the bottle looks small, but you only need a few drops at a time. It’s Subscribe & Save eligible. If your skin feels thirsty rather than dry and tight, a water-based hydrator like Climate Control may do more for you.

SeneGence’s regimen doesn’t list a separate oil step, so I treat it as a finishing layer after the Evening Moisturizer. Remove makeup, cleanse, add any serum or treatment, moisturize, then press in a few drops. On lighter nights, mix a drop into your moisturizer instead.
